Every year we are excited to search for new plants to add to our already extensive product offering.
This year, we’ve added 10 Proven Winners® and a new Proven Selections® Grass. Also, we have expanded our Simply Beautiful® offering by adding 5 Calibrachoa. Our varieties of 8″ Dahlias has changed and now includes the Balloon Series. The colors added are Orange, Scarlet, Violet and Yellow. We’ve also expanded our Zinnia Magellan Series (in 8″ pots) to include Cherry and Pink.
We are excited to announce that we’ve also started growing the Cool Wave™ Pansies in 4″ pots and Hanging Baskets. This early season plant will help kick off spring with its distinctive flowers. The colors in our line include Frost (4″ pots only), Mix, Violet Wing and Yellow.
SunPatiens®, which are resistant to the Downy Mildew spores currently infecting plants in several states, are another new addition. These sun-loving impatiens will thrive in both sunny and partial sunny locations. The colors for this year include Blush Pink, Electric Orange, Lilas and Vigorous Red.
The All America Selections winner Vinca Jams & Jellies has been added to our 306 flats (American Pie Mix and Blackberry).
The 10″ Premium Hanging Baskets assortment has expanded to include the First Yellow Geranium! Scaevola (Scampi Blue and Scampi White) and Torenia (Gilded Grape, Grape-o-Licious, and Summer Wave Blue) were added as well. There are several new Premium Combo Hanging Baskets this year, including the Proven Winner Combo of the Year, Velvet Skies. The Bi-Color Hanging Baskets were so popular last year that we’ve increased the selection by adding Gerbera Daisy, Lantana, Scaevola and Verberna. Some new combinations of Patio Containers have also been added.
